State of an emergency

Well many times they call a state of emergency for no reason. The other night we got severe rain falls. But overall not bad. I went to work and the river broke which means everything is under shoulder length water at home. I just finished canoeing in to pack up the animals and get out. I left my friends houses out and the neighbour's next door is taking them to her cottage along with her horses.

Oh my. What a struggle for those affected by the heavy rain. So glad you could get the animals out. Stay safe!

It's just like they're crying wolf for joke. I think no. There are two things they want to accomplish. They make it public so people may know. Second they can claim funds for the emergency when the place is under the state of emergency.
