More News on the Tab Top Jackets

Today I stopped in the store which sells these tab top jackets to find out more about them. It was an interesting experience which I thought I would share.
Each of these full-length coats, jackets and vests is unique. They are hand-made by a woman in Brazil. The coat sells for $400, the jacket for $200 and the vest for $160.
This store primarily only sells unique, hand-made items from around the world. All their scarves are hand-painted.
They have clothing from Ukraine, Spain, Italy and a variety of countries in South America.
Most of their clothing, which includes hand-made and painted silk scarves, dresses, blouses and jackets, are stunning works of art ... which means they tend to be quite pricey. However, I'm sure this is one of the more popular boutiques in Laguna Beach because of the unique, beautiful artistic designs.
It was fun to go into the shop with my friends and find out more about their unusual clothing!

@DianneN - I agree. When I was in the shop, I saw a few hand painted silk scarves which were lovely and I could see myself purchasing one ... but many of the other items were a little too extreme for my tastes.

@DianneN - I wish I had a good photo of the coat. I can't imagine sitting on it! It would feel so weird, plus I would be afraid it would snag everything I wore or sat on!

@just4him - It is not the most practical item of clothing, but I admire the Brazilian woman who makes them. I hope she sells a few.

Well, well, well. Some unique finds. I'm sure my sons wouldn't want to wear any of the designs above since they're for women but perhaps they're willing to make such purchases for their future wives or girlfriends. Have a wonderful rest of the evening.

It does look incredibly interesting. I love necklaces and clothing art with a bit of an artistic story behind them.
