Family Buries Wrong Man

A coroner in California identified a man that has been found dead near a store dead as someone else. They made a mistake. This man has a mental disorder and chooses to live homeless so his family checks on him periodically. The family claimed the body and gave him a $20.000 funeral. Later they got a phone call that this man really was alive.

Wow, that really is a mess. I would be pretty upset about the money spent and the confusion but I guess delighted that he was still alive.

Sure. And you'd have to sue the coroner to get funds to straighten it all out.
