Preiti had stopped eating for almost a week. I put her on homoeopathy and this is the result. She comes to the bowl banging it and hoping to get some food.
Pet lovers surely know what it is when pets ask for food.
What was that moment in your pets history that brought you unexpected joy?
Almost a week Preiti had stopped eating. I put her on homoeopathy and this is the result. Very happy.

I haven't one, but we had a few friends and relatives who had dogs for pets. Yes, we know when they need food. I remember having forgotten to feed one pet, not being habituated to having pets. That guilt still haunts me because they don't know how to ask.

@allknowing .. Yes, you are great. For me it was a time I was going to college, normally aunt used to feed the dog but she went out of station and I was late for college with cooking and packing box etc., and it slipped my mind. While returning home, I recalled, oh god it was so sad...so sad that the poor thing did not get to eat the whole day.

There is not a single day in our life that we have forgotten to feed our pets. She gets her food first and then we eat. She has her own food. We do not give he table scraps. She was not eating for a while and when she came to her bowl this morning banging it, it made my day.

Preiti is funny. She sits at the table until we give her a piece of what we have It is just symbolic as we never give her table scraps. So I wash a piece of whatever, thoroughly and place it on her food and then she finishes what has been served. But that one week she was not eating but now all is well.

@rebelann I give boiled chicken fingers to preiti with rice and soup. She also gets her biscuits. and a handful of pedigree. Pedigree is the cause of her losing her coat.

Preiti does not need to do that at all. Because she gets her food on time but this because she was not eating for a few days and then when she came to her bowl asking for it I was happy.

When you see if a dog is not eating for a week, make sure you show him/her to vet. It may happen he/she is suffering from Jaundice.

We have had dogs for years and I know when to show our pet to a Vet. Thank you.
