Neopets 2017 Altador Prize Shop Is Now Open

I had a feeling that when TNT published the news it would give some mention about the prize shop for the Altador Cup. Low ans behold, it is now open and if you playyed even a few games you should have some prize points to use. Please remember, the prize points are not the same as Neopoints. The main them prize is a team banner; you can pick any or all of them (as long as you have the points) and they are available for all of the different lands. They each cost 50 points and thankfully Neopets retained the on-screen counter for when you purchase things. This lets you keep track of how many of a certain item you have purchased. I only ended up with 2,600 points which is a lot less than what I wanted but it was really hard to get motivated to play. Even more so when people were cheating or using bots to reach the All Star level. I am going to start buying the Yooyu Ice Cream (10 points) and Yooyu Ginger Bread (25 points) when the price drops on the Shop Wizard. The non-edible items that are great looking are the Yooyu Nail Paint (30 points), Yooyu Pillow (75 points) and Yooyu LED Lamp (45 points). Some of the high priced items are great for collectors but the casual player might not have a use for them. TheYooyu Medal and Volgoth Action Figure are both great items to stock up on if you have the extra points but the Altador Cup XII Commemorative Stamp (4,500 points) is what will probably go up the most in price. There are some team jerseys available but they are the same design as previous years.
