The one thing I missed the most while not feeling well the past few months has been walking. Before all this got bad I use to walk miles every day without effort. I enjoyed it so much. It got to the point though where I couldn't even go a short distance without getting chest and arm pain. It was frustrating and scary.
Since the surgery everytime I close my eyes or when I go the sleep I am walking. Some nights i my dreams I walk all night long. I don't really go anywhere just walk and walk. I look forward to the day when I can go walking again but this time I will pause to enjoy the many simple things in life that we take for granted. Life is too precious not to.
I really myself getting stronger each day. Soon I will be back out on the trails again.
Life live like every day is your last.

@Happy2BeMe Yes I feel it won't be long Laurel as you are a go getter. That pain must be something else and I hope you have some kind of med to calm it.

The pain gets better each day..Sometimes it is really bad and other times not so much. It's all about the healing.

@Happy2BeMe It was good, we were getting ready to move, our movers came to the old house on Sunday and now I'm starting to feel like we're pretty much unpacked. Very busy time.

Second, I hope you are able to take those walks soon. And yes, we should always be grateful for the simple things and enjoy them.
