Hello there Cat. :) It is true those songs from 80s and 90s are truly worth to listen to! :D And i am also a fan of Boyzone, Backstreet boys and Westlife. Their songs and musics brought so much meaning on it unlike some other new songs played on air today. I am glad I've found someone like you in here who still does have a sense of taste for it. :)

"Golden oldies" to me usually means the Platters, Teresa Brewer, or the Carter Family.....

@Cat1993 -- I'd still rather listen to the Platters and Teresa Brewer. There isn't a whole heck of a lot that my parents played that I don't still like. It just sounds weird playing after a Clash song....

I still refer to 80's and 90's music as....80's and 90's music. Now, golden oldies are back a few decades, like 20-30 years "It's all relative" you know Music is in the eye of the beholder

By the 80's and 90's, I was too busy to listen to the radio. I grew up in the 60's...now that music still warms my heart.

My preference is listening to new wave music of the 80s.
