My Poor Chancho Died Today... :-(

The day was so dreadful feeling for me. My eldest son golden retriever dog Chancho died at the age of 9 (52 dog years). This morning, he was a bit walking like a drunken man. Then, I had checked him this afternoon. He was just lying down and not moving. I felt so bad that he died so soon. I am not sure if I can have another dog after this.

I am so sorry to hear that. But I am sure that Chancho is in God's hand now, living peacefully..Better not to have any pets now.

this is one discussion that i cannot hit on a like. i am so sorry kabsat for the untimely demise of your dog. how old is he? is 9 in human years, or canine years? where will you bury him?

It takes a long time to heal grief about a dog.
Just give it the time you would not give it yourself to get over it and you will never forget him.
I remember Shep how we used to play for hours that is how I prefer to remember him.

I am sorry, I really am , no one want their fur baby to pass I wonder what he passed from? You will probably have another, but not soon.. It won't replace him, but will make you happy.

Oh @Shavkat , I'm so sorry. I know it hurts. It sounds like he had a stroke or heart attack. Getting another dog can be a tough decision.

@Shavkat Your other dog does know something is wrong. Dogs grow attachments to each other just like humans do.

@Shavkat I know. I had two dogs die three months apart. I didn't get another dog for three years. I actually didn't get the one we have now, my hubby did.I kept saying no, but it wasn't fair to him. The pain will ease, but the memory lives on. Hugs

@Shavkat Lost my cat at 13 years old from cancer. Wish our pets could live longer, they are such good companions.
