The seventeenth album by Elvis was titled It Happened At the World’s Fair and was a soundtrack from his movie by the same name. The album was released on April 10, 1963. A single was released from the album titled “One Broken Heart for Sale” on the A side and “They Remind Me Too Much of You” on the B side. Some other songs on this album are “Take Me to the Fair” and “Cotton Candy Land”. I believe this album is another one with songs not heard so often because it was the soundtrack of a movie. The movie had Elvis portraying a crop-duster named Mike Edwards who finds himself in a lot of trouble when his friend and partner Danny Burke played by Gary Lockwood gambles away all of their money. When they get into debt the local sheriff takes position of their plane. They need twelve days to get the money and Mike and Danny get picked up hitchhiking by an apple farmer Walter Ling and his niece Sue-Lin. It is the usual kind of Elvis movie with Mike taking Sue-Lin to the World’s Fair in Seattle, Washington. He falls in love with the nurse there named Diane Warren played by Joan O’Brien and has a second love interest named Dorothy Johnson portrayed by Yvonne Craig. What is interesting is that a very young Kurt Russell also had a part in this movie as a young boy who kicks Elvis in the leg. Vicky Tiu played Sue-Lin and grew up to become the first lady of Hawaii when she wed Governor Ben Cayetano. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/It_Happened_at_the_World%27s_Fair
