A love letter to coffee

July 3, 2017 7:07am CST
I love you coffee. I had to give you up for almost a year while I was pregnant and at the beginning of breastfeeding...and gosh I missed you. Some days you are the only thing that gives me enough energy to be a functioning human being. How oh how do people not drink coffee?!

I don't know how there are people who don't drink coffee. I am going to bed now and I am just so looking forward to that morning coffee.

I just started liking coffee a few years back. Still wondering how I had managed to survive my mornings without it before

I drank coffee while I was pregnant, didn't hurt my babies in any way. I just drank it in moderation. And I agree-I don't know how anyone wouldn't like coffee!

I had quit coffee for almost 2 months now. I substitute it to tea. Green tea. I had to quit because of my high Uric acid. Ever since I quit drinking coffee. I'm feeling much better now. I can breathe easily and can now sleep soundly. Too bad I had to say Coffee goodbye. I got addicted to it actually. I never imagined that I can actually remove coffee from my system.

They do say if you crave coffee then you might be lacking iron. But yes it does knock acidic levels off in the body. I feel you should always make sure your drinking enough water too so you don't get dehydrated.

Sorry, i cannot drink much coffee. I have gingivitis. When I drink coffee, I will experience gum pain, racing heart beat and insomnia.
