This fellow was one stupid robber. He had targeted several iPhone stores forcing employees to fill his backpack with iPads and iPhones. But at an AT&T an employee the robber was holding at gunpoint slipped a GPS into his backpack along with the loot. The police tracked the robber who led them a chase through Gwinnett into DeKalb county where State Patrol took him into custody. He's being held without bond as the Gwinnett detention center. I found it interesting that the robber brought the law officers straight to himself. We have so much crime around us. I read about it in the paper every day and much of it is shocking and some amusing like this happening. What are some of the weirdest crimes you have recently read about.

That was really smart of that employee to slip that GPS into his back pack.. Yep I bet he wasn't expecting that at all.

There are so many crimes happening in my country, too. I am not sure what's the reason behind but surely, it is connected to poverty.

Some crimes are because of poverty but many wealthy people commit fraud and other crimes against others. All these scammers and greedy people steal from the poor and rich alike.

@Shavkat It's hard to understand why people commit crimes. It wouldn't be worth spending years in prison.

That employee was one smart cookie to slip that GPS into the backpack. This is probably the dumbest robber I've heard of recently

That employee that slipped the GPS in the pack back did a good thing. Sometime crooks are really stupid.

I can't think of any weird crimes right this minute, but I used to love listening to morning radio shows where they had segments on stupid criminals and their idiot crimes. I used to laugh so hard at those stories of dumb criminals. The thing I always find funny is that when crooks rob banks, the tellers always put the exploding dye packs in the bags, and they always explode and cover the money (and usually the crooks) in ink. It just blows my mind that bank robbers don't think to look in the bag and remove the exploding dye packs before they run out of the store with the money!
