Anniversary time, so off to the Oregon coast

Tuesday will be our eighth wedding anniversary. We will celebrate by going to favorite little village of Yachats (Ya-hots) on the Oregon Coast tomorrow. It is quite small, but there are several good restaurants in town and I have reservations at the best of them, Ona, for Tuesday evening.
We sometimes rent a house for a few days there, but will stay in an ocean front hotel room this time. There are spectacular ocean views and (usually) migrating whales with their calves visible from the shore. The weather is supposed to be good all week, but much cooler than out mid-eighties at home, so we will have to take some warmer things as well as shorts.
I might check in from my iPad while there, if not I'll see you all in a few days.

@JamesHxstatic - I'm glad it all worked out for you. We spent last weekend in St. Louis because my mother is very ill. When we returned to California on Tuesday, the air was smoky because of the fires. The air quality is better now.
