Hi...Mylotties, wishing you a miracle day... Today Yeah...Everyone of us like to return to our home even if we travel around the world for example... Hmmm...yes.Home gives pleasure and joy because of our beloved family and also our favourite Non living things. Now a days, people prefer glass upstairs inside their home.It really gives majestic look, there's no doubt in that. But do you feel it is safety and I think every step taken with special care and awareness... I would like to try it. It was like in Tianmen Mountain, Zhangjiajie, China. You can walk on the glass. Image Credit: i.ytimg.com

It looks very nice and if you build it properly it can be safe, but I also have small children and it does not seem safe to them. I'm afraid that the edges of the glass stairs can cause damage, also it's more smoother you can slide easily especially for small children.

The Parliament building in Berlin, Germany, called 'Reichstag' has a glass dome. Visitors can walk up to the top. inside. There are no stairs but a spiral way which swings very slightly when people are on it. Everything is transparent. Walking up you can look inside and watch the politicians discussing (or napping!) and also enjoy the panorama outside. I tried to get up twice but had to return after some metres. I was horrified. @manikarnika It is pretty. The dome was built on the top of the original building which was destroyed during WW2. The architect is Sir Norman Foster. He is famous worldwide: Two more photos:
