In love, out of luck...

Have you ever been in love with someone you know you can't be with? Having a connection so deep, that you both are very aware of and verbal about, that you can't even fathom not having their energy in life? Both parties know that if we ever became a couple it would hurt us more than help us, I don't want to hate him and he doesn't want to hurt me or lose me. Its like we are in a place of love that can not be. Its self sacrifice and self preservation at the same time. Does anyone else have this connection with a special person in (or out) of their life?

I had but it ended and we are in a much better place now.

I believe I had been in love before but then I don't think I loved any one that much... Maybe I didn't have a chance to let myself really fall in love with anyone..

But then I think i still try to protect myself from getting more hurt so the less I show love the better...

@ato1to10 TT- I totally get that. Love in itself is a scary flight and if you don't let yourself open up to the most powerful love you can imagine than it can't be forced either. I Do hope you feel this emotional magic oneday though.
