I met a friend for coffee at 6 this morning, in a town about twenty miles away. It was nice getting to connect.
Today I may spend most of my time working inside. It is hot already out there.
Funny, driving down the road the passenger half of my windshield got a few rain spatters. What is that all about? Least the cloud could have done would be to get the whole road. But no, it did a halfway job, and then quit.

It is. It can become rather disorienting because there are not very many landmarks.

You can never tell the rains by looking at the clouds. Even thundering clouds may not rain at all, or so they say. :)

She had to take her husband to work and he had to be there before 6. I was up as I get up with my husband at 5.

We had some rain during the week. Wednesday I believe. Now it is hot again, but this is Kansas in July. It really is not too bad, but the outdoor work is best done in the morning when possible.
