This can be a really tough question to be answered... 
Imagine yourself in a situation where the justice of men did not solve your problem (it always happened, it happens and unfortunately it will always happen)... Would you have the courage to make justice with your own hands?

I believe I am in that situation at the moment, so I get myself a lawyer to do the talking on my behalf.

I would say it depends on the situation. If I were fighting for my life I would find a weapon of some kind to use to get the bad guy off my cat or myself and to get him out of our apartment.
