A lady attempted to commit suicide due to her boyfriend's blackmail to post their deed to social media

There was this segment in our local network wherein the parents complained about the boyfriend of their daughter. The daughter almost attempted to commit suicide because the boyfriend is forcing her to have s^x even though the girlfriend already refused because she is still in the process of recovery from sickness, by then the boyfriend was totally angry and begun the blackmail thru text messages if his girlfriend will refuse to have s#x with him then he gave a threat that he will post their deed to social media, twitter, and other forms then the girl will be popular because of what they did. The mother stated that her liver is elevated 22 because of what her boyfriend did to her daughter. The guy began to cry and apologize to the parents. The daughter had chance to speak to her boyfriend asking to delete all videos and pictures. The boyfriend still spoke to his girlfriend by asking forgiveness then requesting that they can meet anywhere they want just to talk but the mother butt in to stay away from their daughter. They didn't bother to charge him or send to jail because all they want is the deletion and at the same time to stay away already from their daughter. The daughter didn't also want her boyfriend to be in jail. In the first place the mother doesn't want her daughter to have a boyfriend. Although there were many cases that can charge to this guy it can be statutory rape because he is already 20 years old while his girlfriend is still minor which is 17 years old, at the same time grave threat and vouyerism can also included to the list. He can be charge for life sentence of reclusion perpetua. If you are the parent of this suspect or a guy and you knew that he was reported on local news due to this issue then how are you going to handle this kind of situation? Imagine he is your son then how would you feel and what are you going to say to this guy? This is the reason we as parents should guide our children accordingly and we should really know their feelings, emotions, actions and how they respond to us. We should also educate them about s#x especially if they are in the adolescent stages such as the disadvantage of having relationship early, regarding as well the repercussions and the awareness of the diseases too. There are important things to discuss and let us not focus on morality issues.
