Do you have an extra pair of car & house keys just in case you misplace them?

I am getting calls from my brother on the phone lately, "Hey Anthony, can you run down here and unlock the front door. I went outside in my pajamas and I'm locked outside in the cold."
Yea. He has more than one set of house keys but what good does that do if he can't remember where he put them?
If you have a chance, get copies of both car keys, entry locks to your gate and house and for goodness sake, have the presence of mind to make a third copy to keep on your person 24/7. If you have to do this, hang 'em on a necklace around your head. Tuck it under a t-shirt to hide them.
And for another thing, walking out side in the cold in your bed clothes is a no no.

Well I don't but my son who is here has another set of house keys so if either one of us loses it, hopefully that will be our replacement.
No car here so no worries there.
I should get another one made really thanks Anthony.

LOL... I have been locked out a grand total of once and it was in this house and had to call a lock smith. That was an expensive mistake. I had gone to a doctor's appointment and hubby went out and locked the door... We didn't know that he was going anywhere. We won't make that mistake again.

My mom has her 1 extra copy, I have a copy but no extra, and my grandma has an extra copy to our place just like we do with her. Sometimes it is always hard to keep an extra copy on your person. you just don't think about it.

We have extra sets of keys for everything. We learned a long time ago that one set of keys is never a good idea. Lol

Yes, so very true. For your convenience here is a link to places you can get keys copied in Canada: Toronto is listed but Canada has many provinces so they may not all be listed in Yelp and I found out that Lowes is in Canada and they sell locksets but I don't know if the Canadian Lowes stores make keys: But hope this link to YELP helps:

Yes, I have extra sets of keys for car and house. It's a good idea too, because I'm sometimes forget where I put them and it's less stressful knowing you have extras around. By the way, the misplaced keys always turn up in some weird place thank goodness

Generally every lock comes with extra keys, so yes I have extra keys but don't carry them with me. Actually it is a good idea to have extra keys.
