I like Back To School specials at Walmart

I was in Walmart yesterday with my wife. We found so many good back to school supplies that we hit the mother load. I bought extra spiral notebooks, scotch tape and snack holders. I really had a good time with 10 bucks yesterday. When Walmart has back to school supplies on sale, you don't have to be a student to buy them. The ball point pens, pencils, binders and reminders are all on sale and you can fill up your supply table and cabinet with all the paper clips, post it notes, note book paper, index cards and just about everything at rock bottom bargain prices. I am looking for a magnifying lens sheet that fits in a 3 ring binder. Also a good hand held magnifying glass with a small ultra magnifying lens built into the corner for up close details is just what the master of back to school supplies ordered.
Shop for School Supplies at Walmart.com and browse Calculators, Pens, Pencils, Notebooks and Binders. Save money. Live better.

I know! I got pencils, crayons, glue and colored pencils the other day from there. They were all fifty cents each!

@LovingMyBabies , yes and I recently noticed that Microsoft Windows Store has some apps that allow you to virtually color pictures that are very detailed and similar to the printed versions sold in most retail stores for adults to spend time being creative and relaxed with.

Cool. My wife likes those beautiful coloring books and I bought her lots of colored pencils. She loves to fill in the spaces with all those bright colored pens and pencils.

That is a good place to shop. They have pretty good prices at the moment, but when back to school time ends the prices will go back up.

Yes why not. Even if I am not in school, I would love to browse bargains at this time of the year. Walmart is tops for school things. I love the black notebooks.

That is a good thing you have some other place to shop for back to school supplies. Walmart is practically in every major city. I imagine Riga has some pretty nice stores as well.

It is a very dangerous time when it is back to school season for me. I tend to get so many notebooks because they are 10 cents, who wouldn't go after them? Haha

You need to go there early to get ahead of the mob.

I always go there to get at least 2.00 worth of spiral notebooks, they make great sketchpad and drawing books!

They don't like going back to school much but once they make new friends it will be better for them to adjust to the new classes and such.

I'm hoping my students' parents are taking advantage of those back to school sales. I also hope they are paying attention to my supply list.

@lookatdesktop The school system I just left didn't have the bandwidth to allow students to use their own cell phones and tablets on the school's WiFi. There is also the problem of students using the devices to spend time on social media instead of school work. I would, on rare occasions, allow my students to use their smart phones to look things up on the net, provided they kept the phone in plain sight and I could check it at any time. Some did so, but most didn't want to use their data allowance on school work.

As I understand it, most public schools let the students use tablets, or cell phones to do research and all that, or is this limited to study hall? Hope you have a good time with your younger students in the new school.

I love to get the great deals too. Especially the spiral notebooks.

They are great and can fit into a regular bookshelf and by alternating them front and back so the spiral binds do not get tangled. They make some that have pre cut perforations so you can easily tear out a full sheet neatly. The multi-pen and pencil packs for 97 cents each are a real bargain. Some items are a few dollars but overall they are in a few dollars price range and useful for many home office tasks.
