I do not like watching T.V all the time. But I spend a lot of time online. Do you think spending time watching T.V is unproductive.
At the same time some kind of entertainment is essential to life. Like I like to listen to songs. Maybe you love watching Youtube. So what do you do to entertain yourself.

I haven't watched any TV in days. I usually only watch sports on TV, but the local baseball teams are not good. I entertain myself around the house by restoring old wood products and practicing music. Here's one of my YouTube videos. I hope you enjoy it.

@TheHorse It was a writing site.
I started online writing with Associated Content based in Denver, Colorado. It was taken over by Yahoo for a purported sum of $100 million for 2 million posts ie $50 per post. It never really took off and Yahoo closed it and I lost about 400 posts. I give below a link to my post at another site about how I felt about this matter: siva
The email that Yahoo Contributor Network was shutting down came like a bolt from the blue even for the likes of me who were not active. Then what about those who had put in their heart and soul into their posts and built up the community over the years?

I no longer pay for cable tv service.
I now watch shows or movies on the netflix app mostly..much cheaper.

@mysimplelot I don't think watching TV is unproductive.How can it be unproductive if it relieves you of your stress?Yes,I watched TV to entertain myself.I watch news channels.I and a few HindI TV serials.

It depends on what you watch, I guess. I enjoy watching documentaries, I don't consider it unproductive at all. But then again I think some people watch tv as a way to relax, nothing wrong about that either.

I do like watching TV. I watch shows on Netflix so i can pretty much stop whenever i wish to get done what i need to get done. It is all about self control. Like now, I could be watching "Madam Secretary" but i need to get some work done so i am on here instead.

I watch t.v. , I read, and I think it is all productive because it helps me to relax, and we need to be relaxed to be productive @mysimplelot . :)
