Bringing home the bacon

Actually not bacon, but hotdogs and milk shakes from Sonic. Hubby called to say he was headed home and that he wanted the Sonic hotdogs for supper tonight and will stop at the closest one.
I know that not everyone has a sonic where they are, or even fast food. Some of you talk about street food, though and I suspect it is much the same.
Today Sonic was having a sale.

I have fast food chains here. And some of them even have home delivery. But for me, eating that is much more expensive than home made food, even when I cook more gourmet food.

I do agree. I have hot dogs and all the fixings here. I will eat out on Friday, then be good the rest of the weekend.

I've never tried a sonics ... I've seen their restaurants while travelling in america..but we've never tried them...
I hope youre husband enjoyed them.. did you have the same ?

Yes we had the same. Different shakes. I had hot fudge, he had peanut butter. Yes, Sonics started in Oklahoma, and their car hops delivered orders to your cars on roller skates. "Service with the speed of sound".

It is a regional drive up fast food place. You eat in your cars or you take it home.Hubby passes two of them on his way home.

Haven't been to Sonic in a long time. None here in the area of town where I live. No transportation. We used to eat there after grocery shopping at Walmart. I like their drinks.
