So I woke up today very early to keep up with my downloads. Then I check my facebook and this news hit me.
If you happen to know alternative rock, then you must know Linkin Park. Chester Bennington, 41 committed suicide. He was found inside his house hanging. It really saddened me because I just downloaded their songs from their first album. This news is very shocking to me.
According to some reports, he cannot handle his own demon anymore and that he is having some personal issue. But for a guy who succeeded in his life, who created a big impact in the music industry. loved by millions of fans worldwide. Why?
As a fan, he left me a big WHY?
Life is wonderful and a lot of people are battling to live their life, to live long.
I have been through a lot and I will never ever consider suicide as an excuse to end my life.
Maybe for some people, it's cowardliness. But let just give the man a decent remark. Rest in Peace Chester Bennington.

It is hard to understand when someone is seemingly in the high life.
But yes his own demons got him.
RIP Chester.

It is a shame that being famous in the internet era means that you have no more privacy if you are a celebrity. Having to deal with the stress of fame is deadly to a lot of people.

@JustBhem I know a lot of celebrities who are gone on record saying the money is good but having the paparazzi take your picture 24 hours a day is a pain.

Being a celebrity is not easy, you have to deal with that. If that pains them, then they should not get themselves involved in the limelight. Celebrities acting towards paparazzi and they keep on doing the same thing. If they want their life to be private, why live a normal life. Why going to places that people will recognize them. Why not be humble about it.

Just like Robin Williams, he gave up on depression. We are lucky we didn't have their condition, always looking forward to live everyday.

You will never know why. Noone will. Unless they were very close to him and knew exactly what he was going through. And even then, its still questionablr as to why.
His success with his music does not fix what bad things had happened to him, and in his life.
And not everyone whos living a bad life now, or has had a bad past, can handle life for long. Doesn't make them weak or a coward. It makes them human and have feelings.
I've thought of it myself years ago when I lost my daughter. And never thought i would think about it before then, So i know how easily it can happen. Even when you think it wont.. it can.

I don't see it as cowardliness. I think it takes a lot to end your own life because you feel that you are worthless and no one needs/loves you. No matter how famous, loved, or how big of an impact he made. He was struggling inside and he couldn't open out about it and get help because since he is famous people would heavily judge him for it which wouldn't have made his situation any easier. More than likely he was heavily depressed and being in the music industry of all places there were probably other influences like with many musicians (Michal Jackson, Amy Winehouse, Elvis, Whitney Huston, etc.) to help cope.
Look at Robin Williams. He was one of the funniest and probably one of the most loved people in the world but he was fighting a lot of things inside that he couldn't share because he is known as the funny, happy, go lucky guy. A lot of the people we look up to especially musicians and comedians have some series sh*t going on in their minds that none of us could even imagine having to live with. Even though depression is something a lot of people face each one thinks that no one else could understand how they feel. These people and much more are why I want to work with in the mental health field. Instead of judging them, or calling them cowards we should try and understand them more, be there for them, and take away this stigma of mental health that the social media has given it.
Just like the old saying say"Money doesn't buy you happiness." He may have been rich and famous but that doesn't mean he was happy or successful. Success means something different to everyone.
