Growing up these names were common around the house, why? they were/are famous.
For those who do not know, they are fishermen.
Once I even met Tom Mann and Tony shared a fishing secret with him and he made a line of plastic fishing worms based on how Tony fished a plastic worm.
Whenever a bunch of us would go fishing and one out fished the other they often got " ____ thinks he/she is Bill Dance."
Sometimes the Bass Master classics come to Birmingham civic center to have the weigh in for their tournaments and they have a nice show, that is were I met Lee Greenwood.
So do you know any of the stars of the fishing world? Old school or new?

They have a big tournament in Dayton, TN which isn't far from us. Fishing is ok, watching people fish is like watching paint dry.

@AbbyGreenhill It was always on t.v. when I was growing up, I will tell Tony I would like to watch something else and he turns it, why? because I dont watch much t.v. and he watches it 24/7 since this cancer.

That is exactly how I feel about watching fishing on T.V. or football or any sport , when you have sick people/ men in the house they watch! When I ask why? to learn more.
