Time to call it a day

I had a pretty good walk this evening. We walked to the grocery store and back. The walk takes about 25 minutes each way plus we walked around the grocery store. It took us about an hour and a half. I wasn't even all that tired when I got home. We just took our time and didn't rush. I am tired now though so I am going to head off to bed. It's been a good day. Good night myLot friends I will be back tomorrow.

I'm glad to see you got a bit more walking in today and you aren't feeling that tired. I am tired also after walking around the zoo today and being in the car for 4 hours. Hope you get a good nights sleep.

That's a pretty good distance to walk to reach the grocery store! But definitely doing you some good. Did you have to carry a lot of heavy grocery bags back with you on the return trip home?
Back in January, when we had a nice cool day in Florida (we don't get much of winter), I walked to the grocery store as well, and it was about the same time distance as your walk. Silly me, I bought stuff that was all frozen or refrigerated, and didn't think about the walk home! Luckily, it was cool enough out that nothing spoiled from the long walk!

@Happy2BeMe I think next time I walk to the grocery store, I'm going to bring a backpack, so that I can stuff my groceries in there to make it easier on me when I'm walking back. Fortunately, the new house I moved into at the beginning of this year is super close to a grocery store. I can walk to it in 5 minutes.

I csnt carry anything over 5 lbs for 12 weeks so my fiance had to carry everything. We didn't buy too much. I kept reminding him he had to carry to back. lol

@moffittjc my fiance had a back pack so it did help with carrying what we bought. Nice to be so close to the grocery store.
