Enjoyed my day today

My daughter and granddaughters came over for a visit today. They stayed three hours which was nice. The kids played outside at the playground next to my place so my daughter got to have some time to herself which rarely happens with 3 kids. They had a great time outside. They don't have a park near where they live so they like to come to visit to go to the park. We got to talk about a lot of things.
I didn't get my walk in though. I may go out after dinner for a walk around the neighborhood. Now that I walk every day I hate to miss a day of walking. I always feel so much better after a walk.
It is chilly here today. It feels like a fall day. There is a big change in temperatures from last week. Fall is in the air already.

The weather is all over the place here. One day it is really hot and the next day you need to wear a coat.

I wish it felt like fall here...it's too hot. I'm ready for cooler temps.
I'm glad you had a nice visit with your daughter and granddaughters. Hope you were able to get your walk in after dinner.

We had a really cool day here yesterday, and last evening it looked so much like an autumn sky with the colour of the clouds. Today is bright and sunny and just a picture-perfect summer's day. But when we get this kind of weather, and its late July, you know that we'll have more days like yesterday in the coming weeks.
I'm glad that you and your daughter had such a great visit today. I'm sure that she's relieved to see you in your own home and doing so much better health-wise.

@Happy2BeMe You can tell her that I'm paying attention, and won't let you slip back to your old ways, only the new and improved healthy Laurel is around now! You really scared so many of us, I cannot imagine how your immediate family felt.

It was nice that you had some company today and I'm sure it boosted your spirits. Funny how walking is becoming a habit now and you miss it when you don't do it.

Feels the same here, i dont like it.. too early for it. Glad they could play at the park since they dont have one near them
