Has this happened to you when using your dish washer?

I got so mad earlier today, (this has happened before), I was unloading our dish washer and two of the ceramic salad bowls that we eat off daily, still had food on them. I ended up having to wash them by hand. They went through the normal cycle , so they should have been clean and spotless. They had the same amount of dish washer liquid go through the system as always. As I said above, this has happened to these bowls before. It doesn't happen to the plates, cups and eating utensils as much. I guess from now on, I will wash the bowls by hand. Has this happened to you for those who have dish washers?

Yes! It hardly ever happened with anything in our old dishwasher but when these new people took over a few years ago and gave all new appliances 3 years ago, they have been giving trouble cleaning everything. Pans, utensils, bowls, cups... and were using the dish pods they say to use. We even tried other ones and they ddint work at all.

I guess the new dish washer they gave you was a not so great brand.

Yes we were having this problem earlier on. We now rinse some of the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher

Never had a dish washer. Maybe my hubby saved me from a lot of trouble. Some time ago I asked him what he thought about getting a dish washer. He responded by saying we had a dish washer. I looked at him puzzled. Then he smiled and said you, you're the dish washer

LOL, they can be nice but then when problems like this arise, I think we should have never bought one.

Most of my stuff comes out clean when run through the dishwasher but I have a few items that need to be rinsed before they go in. Otherwise they don't come out as clean as the dishes

Yess! It's so frustrating, i got in the habit of trying to clean things that have left over food before putting them in but its so irritating.

Sometimes that happens if you dishwasher is older. I don't have that problem at all. But, there are things I don't put in a dishwasher like pots/pans. It is odd that it only happened to those bowls.
