Those Magic Words

Yes this year I have figured it out. At first I made it a joke but then I noticed a pattern and what power my words are having over something I never thought I could control.
The rain!
I mentioned to several people that I am going to mow my lawn on Friday, trim a few of the overgrown trees and shrubs and what happens?
I woke to a slow rain, gently hitting the roof. I laid in bed with my eyes closed listening to nothing but the rain. I could even hear the rain tinging as it hit the bathroom fan exhaust on the roof.
Whether I have the power to make it rain (probably not!) or I just need to watch the weather channel more, I will take this day to work inside and watch the grass grow.

@andriaperry It is still going .. this is the last day. Im happy thou I made enough to get groceries!! Made 135.00 so far. Getting late so that might be it been quiet the last hour.

No, really the only change is that our maintenance guy hauled our old furniture away, which we weren't expecting.

They talked about rain today for the last 5 days! Even my husband knew it would rain and he doesn't pay much attention to the weather reports. You don't have that kind of power, sorry!!!

And a few days ago I was in the sun and heat and you were in the rain..... Maybe I should ask you whats the weather gonna be before I make plans
