While others have a sound sleep, me...I can not go to sleep.
Rain had poured hard.
And now, what we have considered "normal" had happened.
Being flooded.
Water have get inside our house.
I have keep things on a higher place already, but i have to be wide awake for the rain isn't stopping at the moment.
Wishing it will be soonest.

So, did it flood there in your place that night?
I can relate, because before we live in my in-law's old house in the city. When it rains it floods that our appliances are always on piled hollow blocks when the rainy season comes.
But i think now, the flood there are rare because the mayor has really taken cared of the drainage system of the city already.

Your house is located on a low-lying area? Don't you have a second floor?

I hope you survive the weather. You must be located on the lower areas. maybe you need to have your drainage renovated after the storm.
