Hello everyone. Greetings from a gray and soggy Jersey Shore. It is 68 degrees F and raining at the moment. The nor'easter is upon us. Usually we get these types of storms in the fall and winter. I don't ever remember having one in the summer before.
I'm up early and dressed for the gym. I'm just drinking my coffee and waiting until it is time to leave. This morning's Strongman workout is supposed to be something special but I have no idea what. I'm a little intimidated to be honest. The owner posted a picture (that I've posted here) up on the FB group with a vague description of what to expect today. I have no idea what I'm walking into this morning. Hopefully I'll survive it! 
After the gym, I don't have much on the agenda. I need to go to PetSmart at some point for cat food and litter. I also plan to make homemade clam chowder using a recipe from my Ad Hoc at Home cookbook. That's about it!

Hope the storm doesn't bring too much flooding or problems. I'll be looking forward to hearing about what you had to do at the gym today. That bulletin could mean anything but I'd expect it to kick butt

Oh, I got back to the post you made after the workout. Oh well, I am going backwards. I should go for a walk and get some air. One day I will dare to try clam chowder. I have no idea if you can buy clams in the UK. Freya is still, as I said in my last post, flat out on the sofa and she has a box of food in the larder that I bought her this morning. As I already said in your last post which came after this, some of the food is in the cat. I think it may be time to get some food from the larder cooked and in me.
