Good news from Facebook: My movie is being released!

In 2014, I auditioned for a part in a film being made by some University of Oregon grads. I wanted the part of the priest, but was called back to read the part of the doctor and was cast in that part. Though the auditions began here in Eugene, they filmed in Portland.
I spent a very hot summer afternoon in a real doc's office wearing a tie, a white coat and a stethoscope. The movie is called "Bad Exorcists" and it is finally being released directly to TV on or around the middle of August. It will apparently be on Google Vue, Amazon, Vimeo on Demand, iTunes and Vudu (I don't know what some of those are).
Anne and I finally got to see the whole thing a year or so ago at a special showing and it turned out a lot better that you would expect a movie about teenagers trying to perform an exorcism on a possessed young woman.
She came to see the doddering old doctor of course (me) and I had two scenes and a few lines or dialog.
I wanted to share the news with the myLot folks. I had given up seeing it released.
I won't put a link here since it might be advertising, but there is info online. Oh, and I was paid all that I am due then ($150), so am not in this for the money.

It was fun and a guy I met there has used me in a commercial for his syndicated RV show and maybe more soon.

I do believe he did, but it was not a large part either and my part was funnier. I recall the audition when these three young guys were sitting there and I was reading the lines having only just looked at them. They said "This is the part that people will remember." The doc was terribly forgetful or somewhat lascivious.

It was really a lot of fun and the people involved were great. If some very short scenes make a "star" than I are.
