(Fill in the blank.) What got me started on this line of thinking was breakfast...
Don't you just hate it when the toast pops up at the same time the kettle boils? Do I butter the toast before it cools off or do I unplug the kettle and make my tea before the kettle boils dry? Decisions, decisions...

Lol...if only those kind of decisions were the most demanding that had to be made. I was cooking my egg while my toast was toasting....my egg is done however my toast is ....mia....oops found it on the floor.

@BarBaraPrz lol....nope I got one, not intentionally. I have however solved the problem...without the use of a catcher's miitt. I put a bowl next to the toaster..

Toast would come first because it needs my attention first. A kettle won't boil dry right away.

Too bad there isn't a way to suspend the toast over the steaming kettle to keep the toast warm.

Actually, the bigger problem that day was the flush arm on the toilet broke off...
