Sad News . . .

As I have posted in we had our weekend in Bataan and it was a very enjoyable one. That was last July 28-31. A week after, just last Sunday, we were informed that the cousin of my husband who is a year older than me, had a heart attack. We were so shocked! She was so happy seeing us all and keep repeating it. She cooked so many foods for all of us to enjoy, while we were there. So, this Friday, we will again be flying back to Manila again then go by bus to Bataan, to be in time for her burial in the afternoon of Saturday. We will endure the trips and loss of sleep just to bid her farewell. I am sure, she will be so happy that we will be attending her burial. What a sad news. . . .

@dollaboy Yes, especially to us who really wasn't told of her present heart condition, because she wants us to think she's okay.

So it seems she enjoyed a lot with you before leaving the world. I am so sorry for your loss. I know it will take time to heal the wounds. Prayers for her soul. Condolence to all of you. May God give enough strength to bear the loss.

Thank you. Actually, she wasn't given a clearance by her doctor when she went there for a check-up days before the reunion. But she persisted so as to join all of us and she kept telling us that she was so happy seeing and talking with all of us.

@SIMPLYD May be she knew the fate. So she didn't listen her doctor and spent time with all of her dear people.

So sorry for your loss. Life is very fragile and so we have to cherish every minute we have left on this earth. I'm sure she's in a very happy place and that's all we're all going, in due time. Also, at the very least, she was happy before she passed away. May her soul rest in peace.

Indeed, even the young ones already get heart attack and die from it. It could be because of these fast-foods that the young generations always like to eat.

@epiffanie When I was young, I eat lots of chips. But now that I am old, I don't like them anymore. Our taste also matures as we age and that is good.
