Have you ever been in banana plantation? The green banana leaves and the banana trunks are all over the surrounding. It feels cool to be surrounded by banana plants because banana is cool. I thought it's cool to photo this banana plantation and I some of you have not seen this group of banana trunks so its worth sharing it to you. Actually a friend post in that banana but I just cropped it because she doesn't want because she said her pose is not good. Photo is mine

The nearest banana plantations from where I live are on the Canarian island of Tenerife. It's in the Atlantic Ocean off the north-west corner of Africa. I've been there several times.

I think the banana plantation in your place are more manageable and properly cultivated, in here its more like in the photo. Most of the banana production here are grown in vast fields or in mountains, depending on the variety.

What you see in the photo are so common in our village because we love to have backyard banana plants outside our house. We have different kinds of banana and the most common is the variety we call "saba".

I think when we speak of Filipino backyard you can always find one or two banana plants there, just like mango, guyabano, and vegetables like eggplant.
