Do you sell on Facebook?

Do you sell on Facebook? I do sell there, and it is so frustrating. The last few months nothing seems to sell. There are people who are willing to give away perfectly nice items, and people do not want them. I don't know if it is too much trouble to go out and pick up the items. Something I am noticing of late is that where I live, most people have Amazon.com boxes at their doors all the time. People want to push a button, and it shows up at the door. They don't want to deal with people. I sell on Facebook, and I don't want to deal with them. One thing that really irritates me is that they say they are interested, and you contact them. You can clearly see that they saw your message because of the check mark and they ignore you and never come back. People are just plain rude. Whatever happened to treating people the way you want to be treated?

We live in an instant society. Everyone wants it now or yesterday and they don't want to do anything to have it.

@MsBooklover Yes you do. I remember those long ago days when people actually appreciated what they got, and were happy to go get the bargain they found. Those days are long gone.

@just4him It is only getting worse. I remember my Mother telling me that one Christmas she got a pair of undies for her gift, and she was happy. Not many children would be today.

It is true. It not my Grandmother's/Mother's younger years where people were thrilled to get a good deal. Today...I either find people want everything yesterday and delivered to their door or they want everything for nothing and want you to bring it to them...and they want everything new. I work each day, and I still love a bargain. Yet, I don't need many materialistic things. I would rather have a comfortable home. When you work hard, you take money seriously.

And there are so many who do it. Some will ask you a question about price, and they will not get back to you. It is a brave new world. I am not fond of selling anymore.
