There is power in the word of God. The words which God directs at His Children are filled with hope, the truth, and "encouragement." There are many scriptures which can help one overcome the many challenges faced in life. Psalms is a great place to start. There's lot so of encouragement in Psalms. God will not direct any of His Creations in the wrong direction . It is mankind which goes astray but are equipped to regain the right direction. Not all persons may believe in the "Word of God." Some may not understand just how God operates. Some believe that there is no God. The believers are the ones who may seek out the "purpose" and may try to find out more not only about God but about His Son Jesus Christ. Jesus used the word believers. No person can be God or Jesus although some continue to claim to be. God will become angry when individuals try to claim to be God. The word is where so many seek refuge. There's a lot to gain by reading the word of God. God loves every person no matter what they've done or will do. It is mankind who isn't so forgiving. There should be times set aside to spent time with God and remember that there is no way to get to God unless going through Jesus Christ. Prayer can change a situation and creates calmness. "I'm a Believer and Praying and Reading is Word is Apart of me=Tanikka Paulk."

I agree although I´m a non believer. Prayers are powerful, whatever the creed.
