Poetry: Love reaches out to all with itself

Live the love in your heart via your hands

Love reaches out both to you, and to me. Its effects on us both are not so hard to see. The end result makes us better people, more free. Everything goes smoothly. Love doesn't inveigle, to be. You'll fly higher with love then than any eagle. Love overcomes all evil, when you are its equal. Free yourself from the pains of life, in its sequel. Love not constrained will make your life peaceful. A loving heart creates wisdom by releasing its pupil. Love finds a way for your life to be more truthful. There is no need to try to outreach love's reach. Love reaches us despite our stretching our leash. I just felt like writing a short poem about love. "To love deeply in one direction makes us more loving in all others." That quote's from Anne-Sophie Swetchine, the Russian mystic, (1782 to 1857)

Thank you. I used to try my hand at writing poetry on some other writing sites, since closed. I am not sure about their relevance here. It's more a blogging site, than an article site, but we are free to write almost anything here too, I think. After all, they tell us to write about "what's on our mind."

Yes, I feel for you there. I once lost years of my past writings something like that. I had a small diary computer program, which I used to do all of my writings in. I had my computer upgraded by a technician, but this program no longer worked on my new machine. It's incompatible. At least we can remind ourselves that we wrote that stuff before, and we can write it again. The writing has not been lost within ourselves. Every experience is added to our bank of experiences and helps us to be who we are growing more into each day.

@innertalks Yes, nothing is ever lost and everything counts recorded in our souls, or as some believe in Akashic records - siva

Unfortunately, hatred is spreading its wings much faster. We need to somehow generate more love and tolerance among people, otherwise, the whole humanity's survival could be at stake.

What you said is very true. People are growing more selfish. They think that their own way is right, and that it is the only right way. They want to punish people for past wrongs, from years ago. No tolerance, no forgiveness, only vengeance they want, and as siva said above, an eye for an eye, makes the whole world blind!!

Sadly, hatred and suspicion are leading the way of our leaders but then we make our choices and so reap what we sow. Love has taken a back seat and we, sort of, willingly allow the opposite to take over our lives. It reminds me of a boon extended to one but with a condition - what you get your neighbor will benefit double of that. Then he opted to lose sight on one eye! That looks to be what our world leaders are after - siva

@Shiva49 and things do not seem to go in the positive direction. Instead the current India-China standoff at Doklam and the increasing threats and tensions between US and North Korea point to hatred acquiring sinister proportions. I wonder aren't there any peace brokers in the whole world of 7 Billion + ?

@Shiva49 And countries like India, many Asian and African countries which have a lot of poor have to spend a lot on weapons when for even 50% of those amounts, all these countries can improve education, Healthcare and eradicate poverty.

Yes, that's true. Love has no limits. It is only ever us that limit love, or restrict love's limitless within ourselves, by our being too afraid to love without limits.
