I heard one single beep while I was saving a document. I don't know what exactly the beep means or where it came from. It might have come from the BIOS memory in the computer, or it may have been a car honking outside. I really don't know, but all systems seem to be okay at this moment. Here is a link for you to look at if you have heard a beep or several beeps on your computer that are not coming from your speakers and you are concerned about what might be the cause of it or if there is any reason to even be concerned: look at this article from lifewire dot com: How To Troubleshoot Beep Codes:

I do what my son does if I would ever hear a beep. Do a scan and than go out of every program. Turn the computer off and than turn it back on again.
