A day at Work

I had to go to work for a couple hours today, I was mostly the assistant and muscle for the helper. A couple of months ago my mentally challenged tenants bought a new refrigerator from the power company and they delivered it for them and set it up. So, it would not fit through the door and the movers took it down but not like someone who owned it but like some dumb .... They somehow pulled the screws out with a hammer and striped the holes so the door would just hang, they came back the next day with a hammer and nails! It stayed up for about day. Since Tony is not able to help me he told my helper how to fix the door, I was the assistant ... Wood, hammer, glue. Drill. New screws and a ta da! What he did was put new pieces of wood in the holes and glued it, then drilled for the new screws and inserted those, but only after a little dry time. As for me being the muscle its more like bouncer, no one will work at their house unless I am with them because the younger tend to stand one inch from the working person talking, no matter if they have a chainsaw or screw driver in hand. One down and one more to fix, at another rental thank goodness. I think I should call the power company, what do you think? The door worked just fine before they took it down.

You reminded me of Manny. The kid on the anime show who fix broken furniture, basically he repairs everything.

I'm glad you're almost finished fixing it. And yes, I would let the power company know what happened.

I think so too but I already fixed it because it was dragging and scraping the hardwood floors.

@andriaperry Our friend was a landlord and his rental units cost more in damages, than he ever made from monthly rent payments:(

Good grief, taking screws out with the claw of a hammer? I can't believe how disrespectful people can be, with another person's property!:(
