How did I wind up making love with two women in the same day?

I would rather be too busy than bored. But this weekend. things reached a head. I play on two softball teams, and both went undefeated during the regular season. It turned out that both had post-season games today. I played two games this morning, and may wind up playing two games for the other team tomorrow. We'll see how it plays out. Right now, I'm going to hit the pool and pretend to be a dolphin.

Yep, that's true. But I'm also an aging softballer with lower back pain. Glad I made it through two games today.

This is the first time that both tourneys have occurred on the same weekend.

@Gillygirl Eh, if my title had been about softball, nobody would have read my post. It's basically "When it rains it pours." Still waiting for the results of my other team's third game. They won one and lost one without me this morning.

You can handle it. Unless of course the teams end up playing each other--that might be a bit tricky.

Eh, it's different tournaments. One is in Orinda and one is in Walnut Creek. Tonight I become a grumpy musician and forget about softball.

@TheHorse I gathered from your post that it was different tournaments, but my imagination likes to carry things to the extreme sometimes. Does the grumpy musician approach work for you?

@Platespinner It worked for me tonight. I played some aggressive leads. It made me mad that I had to pay for someone else's mistake.

Do you make the dolphin sounds too? Cause that would be worth seeing?

Actually, moving around is good for my back. I feel pretty good this morning. I'm sure the swim helped too.

It went great! But my imaginary two women weren't there. Nor were any kids to play catch with. I swam alone.

Heh. Old age is a state of mind. But I did feel "jaded" at certain points in my life. To quote James McMurtry, I "saw too much."
Beautiful piece of prose from a master Singer-Songwriter.

Pervert!!! LOL. I think ancient kings who had more queens and concubines did it...so nothing unusual..anyway seriously...how are you...you have been missing and that is a concern...because of your back pain.

I KEEP telling you, pony... you've overextended yourself, again! I hope you didn't drown in the pool, first! (I am sure it is difficult for hooves to grasp the rungs of a steel ladder to climb out of the pool again... ) I hope you have plenty of purple lotion for your aching/sore muscles after playing that many ball games so close together! (You do know what I mean by 'purple lotion', right?)
