Hello everyone. I hope your day has gone well. It is 76 degrees F and cooling off here at the Jersey Shore tonight. The windows are off, the attic fan is on, and the cool air is coming into the house. We were out at our usual hangout for awhile this afternoon and into the evening. We had lunch and a bit of a sample of the chef's idea of a bacon-wrapped poblano popper for the fall Sunday Football menu later on just before we left. I gave him the inspiration for it and he certainly didn't disappoint! I think it may make the menu.

Now we are home and relaxing. My husband is outside by a fire with a drink and a cigar. I am inside here in the kitchen with the computer and a cocktail. I will soon move to the front room so I can watch Season 2 of Outlander on DVD. I am so hooked on the story! What's everyone else up to tonight?

Good for you that there's a cold weather over there. Here, supposed to be rainy but it's not much there are hot days as well.
