Buying/shopping really a hard to resist especially when you have money to buy those things that itching you hands to buy. It's good I still don't use credit card, it could have been a big problem to me. Awhile ago, me and my wife went to market to buy something for the home. Because it's fiesta lots of transient vendors selling lots of stuff in the area: foods, accessories, clothes (second hand and new), pets and many more. And guess what, the cash we brought with us was spend up to the last peso. Whoa, its true, no cash money left in our pocket.

That can happen during a fiesta or any time really. I hope you had a good time while you were at the market.

It doesn't take long to spend money when you are having fun and getting things that you need.

@ilocosboy I went to town this morning and I had to leave. There was stuff that I wanted but didn't really. It was wiser for me to come home or I would of bought them.

The good thing is that you spent it on things you probably wanted so it was well spent

Vendors at our local open market here only accept cash. I often bring just that much and no more, (say, about $20), to make sure I won't bring home too many junks.

Yeah I think that's a good strategy, just bringing the budgeted amount so you can control your buying, nice one.

One way of saving strategy is to bring only enough amount for the things that we need. I used to have a credit card but I decided to stop because it is not helping me.

My friend used his credit card until he got some problem on it. I just used my paypal and debit card if it is necessary.

Uh oh. I would have left some of my money at home. Hehehe. Hey, but if you really need it then no need to worry. You can earn that money again.

It happens with me as well, I run out of cash and then had to take out my debit cards, I try to not to buy unnecessary things these days :) Shops are very tempting these days with the offers :)

Very tempting, I think this is best to describe the urge to buy things and before you know it you run out of cash already.
