food that won't raise blood pressure

I'm thinking what i can eat this morning. I had elevated blood pressure yesterday morning. It was like 160/100. But went down to 140/90 after an hour. Although that's still high. So i need to watch what I'm eating. I'm not able to manage my blood pressure well. I'm thinking of doing water fasting but i don't feel like it today doing it. I still want to eat something not because i'm hungry but because i just like the taste of food. Hopefully i would be able to control myself and my hunger. Today morning and i need to get better compared to yesterday and i have to take my blood pressure and check out the way it is today. I'm crossing my fingers that i will be able to bring it down on the very good level and keep it it in healthy level for a long time. You can recommend anything any delicious foods that will not raise my blood pressure please give me some ideas but please make sure it would be delicious

Sure there are food that even help to lower blood pressure, like dark chocolate (ONLY dark, not milk chocolate), banana, berries, pistachios

Yes i have read online that dark chocolate can bring blood pressure downblood pressue ut a lot of times it doesn't lower my blood pressure so it seems.

@LadyDuck maybe it does not take effect that fast. And it is quite expensive to buy dark chocolate to continue or maintain a healthy habit

@hotsummer May be you eat something with the dark chocolate that makes your pressure rise, may be a glass of milk, or even worse a canned soda.

It just means drink a lot of water and nothing besides that. Maybe for a day or two. Well i think it will cause you to excrete all the sodium in your body or most of it. But the problem for me is i still don't want to go hungry for now.

@hereandthere i don't know for sure but that's what others say also. I don't usually do that as it's not that easy to buy fresh pineapple and juice it. It's a lot of work for me. Yesterday and today i didn't eat meat just vegetable but still my blood pressure isn't in normal level yet. Maybe i have to cut down even on vegetables.

I am not sure if you like to eat bitter gourd. It decreases when people eat this. Some people can have fried garlic.

i like bitter gourd and also i like garlic. I used to eat 1 teaspoon of garlic per day mixed with honey but the problem is it gives a bad smell on my breath.
