How often do you sweep the floor?

Since I am living alone, I seldom sweep the floor because I am busy with other things. I wake up early and get ready to go to the office at 06:30. I clock out at 18:00 and arrive home about 18:30. I don't eat out (I used to), so again I am busy preparing things for my cooking. If I look at the floor now, I think it needs serious sweeping. Scrapes of paper are scattered around the rooms.
Now I realize that a housewife's work is very tiring. She takes care of all things in the house. I can feel it because I've been living alone without anyone taking care of me. It will be different if I am with my family. We can take turns doing the chores.

My husband and I have to sweep so often. We have three kids, and so it seems like we have clean up often, especially since they're on summer break. But that's life with kids. When they're back in daycare/school, it may be a little easier.

@yanzalong It's the way it is, when you have kids. As messy as things can get, I do still love them.

Things will be sort of messy when they are around. But that's what it is with kids. We are happy though things are messy.

i guess you can do a quick sweep around the house after dinner or before bedtime, then a general cleaning on the weekends.
