Here are some artists who recorded songs with yellow as part of the title. Do you recall the name of the songs? Last quiz answers were: 1. Linda Ronstadt= Love Is A Rose, 2. Dan Fogelberg= Run For The Roses, 3. America= Three Roses 4. Lynn Anderson= ( I Never Promised You A) Rose Garden or Rose Garden. So here are todays artists clues. Do you remember the song they recorded? 1. Song is about being cool and laid back in the 60's. Paul Mc Cartney appeared somewhere in the recording his voice probably at the end with all the clapping. The Scottish singer had a #2 hit in the U.S. with this tune. He helped John Lennon learn the finger picking style the artist used in his recordings. 2. The bands drummer sang lead on this yellow tune. The song was written by the band's bassist as a fun children's type song. The tune included the sounds of bubbles, water and other noises. The track was the title song for the group's 1968 animated movie which featured the four lads in cartoon form. 3. This very successful pop artist had quite a few early 60's hits including this one. Something about a itsy tiny bikini as part of the songs lyrics. The artists first name is Brian. After a lull in his career he emerged with a hit produced by Del Shannon called "Gypsy Woman," maybe you remember this 1970 # 3 pop billboard charter. Know this weeks Artists/bands and songs? Name that tune! Bonus for naming the correct artists/band. Here's the quick recap: 1. Song one-Scottish singer 2. Song two- bubble sounds in the tune 3. Song three- bikini in lyrics Good luck remember yellow in the title... Thanks to all who participate and you know what I say...as always, thanks for playing! Hope these songs brought back a pleasant memory for some... *Bio info from Wikipedia and songfacts.com Photo- Google images/freepik.com

@just4him Donovan was one of those counter-culture recording artists of the 60's. Definitely not for everyone.

The legend is that McCartney is the one whispering "quite rightly" throughout the song.

@dgobucks226 No clue about the first one. The second one is Yellow Submarine and the third, Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini, but I don't know who sang that. I have Whoopi Goldberg in my head for when she sang it quickly in one of the Sister Act movies. I know it's not her though. Just having a quick flashback to a movie scene.

Brian Hyland's puppy-love pop virtually defined the sound and sensibility of bubblegum during the pre-Beatles era. In the years after his teen idol stature f...
