The Air Conditioner is Finally Fixed

Earlier a repair guy came by to take a look at our broken air conditioner and he wasn't here very long. He went up on the roof for a bit and then a short while later came back down and said we were good to go. He didn't say what was wrong and I of course forgot to ask until after he'd left. So whatever it was, will forever remain a mystery.
It's nice having cool air again. Now we can return all these fans we borrowed from my parents, since they really freak out our cat. Poor Lister. He was just starting to get used to them and now he'll be confused where they've gone. All together we went a week without AC, which is way too long when it's summer and you live in California.

Oh the California weather. My grandparents were from California before they decided to come back here for good.

It gets unbearably hot here in the summer. Sometimes I wish I could move some place cooler.

@Srbageldog You should visit my country. Even it's not the summer season, it gets hotter than California.

@toniganzon It stays hot here most of the year too. We only get a couple months of cooler weather. How hot does it get there?

I am glad that we didn't have to wait even longer, since they originally told us it would be a couple weeks before anyone came out to fix it.

We have air conditioners in each bedroom but the rest of the house is hot. I feel for you. Glad it is fixed.

I grew up in an old house that just had one wall cooler in the living room, which often went out and my grandma (who was also the landlord) wouldn't fix it, so we'd go all summer feeling like we were being roasted alive. Now I've been spoiled with central air and I never want to go back to not having it. Summer can be torture when you are stuck inside a hot house.

Good for you that the aircondition had been fix. Reminds me about our AC here we haven't clean it yet.

They way this summer is going for many parts of the country AC is becoming almost essential. Glad you got it fixed

I agree, I don't know how anyone can stand to live without AC in the summer, especially in places where it gets really hot.
