See the photo shown ? That is today`s breakfast, fried noodles also known as Chow Mien or locally known as Hokkien Mee. This recipe is very famous in hawker stall and restaurants, could feed 4 person per plate but not filling. When you dine out, a plate of noodles is suffice for one person, cost $7! I decided to try my own homemade Hokkien noodles for a change. Surprisingly it was delicious! A whole packet of noodles weigh 400g to feed 4 person cost $2! That is far cheaper than expected. Do you prefer fried noodles or soup noodles?

Wow, that's an interesting dish for breakfast! We usually have boring bacon, eggs, and toast.

Those noodles look good. Did you make them from scratch? I personally like noodles with some sort of soup. I eat a lot of ramen and can probably eat them everyday if it were healthy to do so. I really love Japanese ramen. They make really good broth and there are even restaurants where you can "build" your own. From the type of broth, to the noodles, toppings and spices.

In home you are not doing any business, so it is cheap. I have noodles sometimes in breakfast, but not fried.

I like home made noodles, but we do not fry them, nor use them in soups, we boils the noodles and season with different kind of sauces.
