parakeets at bird feeder

yesterday afternoon i was sitting on the back porch reading a book and i glanced up to take a quick break there was two parakeets at the bird feeder. very pretty birds, and they stayed there for at least a half hour.. they must have gotten out of someones house.. so far this morning i haven't seen them but i wish they would show up again..not sure they can survey out on there own but i hope so...

That's pretty neat! I get golden finches at my bird feeder and they look just like parakeets.

I have seen a pair at an old lake we used to fish, year after year, so I think these have managed pretty good.

You are probably right the birds escaped from captivity. Maybe they will be return visitors.
