I Collect Minifigs

How many of you on here collect something that is of interest to you? I only ask because as of late i've been getting into collecting these little metal die cast figures made by Jada. I am not into the Funko Pops, with the funko pops ive only bought 2, a Jimi Hendrix and a Joey Ramone, because they interested me. The Jada metal die cast figures appeal to me though. They have some really good coloring on them. The casts dont look too goofy to me. The quality on the little nano figures varies around the face because of their size though. I'm really liking the 2 1/2" figures more though than the other sizes. Since i'm only collecting the figures that appeal to me either because I like the way they look, or has to do with my loves of comic book characters or wrestling, my collection has grown. Anyone else into collecting these metal figs by jada? What do you collect? Photograph- Taken/Owned by me, Plethos

you dont collect anything? stamps? coins? debt? peoples souls? belly button lint? purses? pictures? parking tickets?

Nope! I've never even heard of those, Plethos... I collect a couple of different things. Playing cards from different countries and different types of coins. I have shoeboxes full of playing cards and one shoebox stuffed with coins and paper bills from countries around the world. Most of them probably aren't worth much, but I did find one 1943 Lincoln penny that was double struck. It is supposed to be worth a few bucks. *shrug!*

@Plethos Hmmm... I have Mexican coins and Canadian coins, too. I also have coins from Russia, England, China, Peru and hmmm... I can't remember where else he went. I will have to get my coins out and look... It is 3:30 am here. I'm needing to go to sleep, so I'm not doing that tonight! LOL! I hope you have a good night, Plethos! Sweet dreams!

playing cards, ive only known people who collect them from the different casinos theyve gone to. especially the ones in las vegas. i get a lot of mexican currency here as change by accident in businesses that accepts both currencies. i make sure to get the right currency.

I used to have some kiss trading cards. I once kept running into gene simmons at a namm show one year. He was filming the pilot for his tv show. Everywhere we went, his film crew posse was in the way telling us to go around.

not many, i know its not more than 30. most i bought as half price. the ones in the pic are the 2 1/2 inch tall figures, regular price is $5, so half is $2.50.

@Plethos You are a good bargainer then! I did at one time have porcelain dolls, the complete collection of Princess Diana full size..they were worth a lot, and I had to trade them for a car that I needed at the time.

We have one of these, Logan Wolverine. We also have a few Q-Fig and just one Funko Pop! But we don't collect them. It's not a collection until you have more than the handful we have! I collect perfume bottles. And vintage dolls. Husband collects Myth & Magic figures, but they've stopped making them now.

@Plethos When his mum spots one he doesn't have she buys it for him, in just these types of shops. Or on eBay. How she remembers which ones he has I have no idea, especially as he hasn't lived at home now for thirteen years!
