Is It About Colour? Or Is It About Drama?

This morning I was drawn into an article telling us the tech industry is racist or bigoted.
Their reasoning?
The soap dispenser did not detect dark skin under its electric eye.
Hmm?
This could be true, but I'm a pale skinned woman..,,automatic faucets have trouble detecting me....electric eye doors don't open for me....
Is this a reason to get the world all fired up about inequality.
I go to another sink and try again....and again....and finally pull out my hand sanitizer. The door? I push it open (imagine) without any drama. The blow dryer in the public bathroom....my pants or the handy napkins in my purse solve that problem.
Is everything really about race or colour....or is the media determined to create as much drama as possible.

I saw the picture and was confused. I read the article and shook my head. When my hands Are dirty.....who they might appear "black"......my friends of a different ethnicity have pink palms.....

It's another way for the media to agitate.

@Morleyhunt Well, it seems to me that the alt right is where the violence started from. I think they are the trouble makers and they should be denounced.

Automatic doors have been around for a number of years. They often drive me craY because they don't open for me every time.

It's frustrating when those electric eyes don't recognize me.

In time gone past use to dwell in the 3d world of computers doing all kinds of groovy computer stuff. I made 3d rooms with nice dark walnut paneling where an avatar could roam around in. Then people came with their avatars. But my visitors and I couldn't see the dark coloured avatars because of the background. I didn't want to write going into the room, white only. Opposite for the winter scenes.

Some just think everything is about them. We are either equal or we aren't..,.you can be more equal or entitled tha. Anyone else or equality is gone again.

Thereis a reason I don't watch television or read the newspapers. I also tend to research information before I spread it to the four winds.
