Taken From The Sky

Technically it was taken from the top of the mountain. It was a joyride I went with some fellow and we drove in the top of the mountain we call skyline. Its just perfect that the fog beginning to covered the whole place and there's the river and green hills below where I stand. I thought it was a good photo so I shoot some from where I'm standing.
The place is one beautiful because it was still not populated with people. Only thousands, maybe 10,000 are living in the municipality of Quirino. Before you can get down to that town you have to drive through this peak of the mountain. From the top you can see the villages.
Of course, the beautiful surrounding is just so astonishing that you really wanted to stay here.

This is really nice! I don't know if I'd be comfy taking a picture like that especially if I can see how far up you are. Did you go there on a motorcycle or a car? I've never been to Quirino and i just might add that to my list of places to go to.

Through car but you can still motorcycle because its all cemented road now. In fact there are so many residents riding their motorcycle just to get home. Its all weather terrain now.

Yes, municipality of Quirino and not province of Quirino, he he. You should visit the Skyline of the place, its beautiful.

Quirino might be a remote place but its one of the great place of ilocos sur. You should go there and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Because it is located in one of the remote town of our province and the distance that is about 20 to 30 kilometers from the national road, plus it has the ascending terrain, which means only few people can go here. Not really a tourist destination now. But I think this will be in 10 years.

it's just a joyride, there's a circumferential road from our city of Candon going up to Quirino passing that place we call Skyline then going down particular at the river then going up again to the town of Cervantes until we reach the famous Bessang Pass of this town and going down again to the national road until we reach our home town Candon.
